Pump.fun and PumpSwap integration: track the market state, not just the token mint

An integration checklist from TierZero, not a trading recommendation.

A token mint identifies an asset, but it is not enough to choose transaction accounts or the correct execution path. Keep a versioned record of the venue, program, relevant market accounts, observed state and the decoder/SDK version used.

Useful test cases
  • An asset encountered before migration, during a state change and after a pool is available.
  • A stale quote or cached account list followed by a changed market state.
  • Instruction decoding against the actual program and supported instruction version, rather than a name copied from an old tutorial.
  • A failed simulation with logs retained separately from a submitted transaction.
Do not assume every token with a familiar ticker belongs to the same pool. Validate addresses, account ownership and token configuration before constructing a swap.

Primary reference: Pump public documentation

If posting a decoder issue here, include the SDK version, sanitized logs and a public transaction signature. Do not post API tokens or private keys.
